We Have Leadership Plenty

Three county residents, Carmen Herrera, Lynea Moats and Bill Brueggemeyer were among the statewide leaders at a conference in Moses Lake this past week. The Horizons Project and Washington State University gathered leaders from across the state to learn and train in building communities in rural Washington. The theme of the conference was Leadership Plenty, with trainers stating that we have plenty of leaders, we simply need to find them.

Carmen and Lynea were in the Leadership track, Bill was in the public relations track. They intend to come back to the county and working to make Skamania Township a thriving community, and to attempt to eradicate poverty.
